The CogniMem chip is an ideal companion chip for sensors by delivering real-time data recognition and enabling transmission only when the information is of interest.

Building banks of CogniMem chips is effortless. On the hardware side, it simply requires to daisy-chain the chips and connect their 23-pin parallel bus together. On the firmware side, there is no impact whether your hardware uses a single chip or a bank of many chips.

A CogniMem network can scale without loss of performance by adding more components to the system. This is very different in comparison to multi-threaded machines where cache coherency issues, synchronization of resources, fetch/decode/memory overhead is problematic and inherent in the serial architecture.
